The effective date for ICD-10 is October 1, 2015!
Claims for all dates of service on or after October 1, 2015, must be submitted with the new ICD-10 codes, while any claim submitted after October 1, 2015, for dates of service prior to October 1, 2015, must be submitted with ICD-9 codes.
Please carefully review the ICD-10 section of this website and the HNS ICD-10 Action Plan for ICD-10 Readiness, to ensure you are prepared for this important transition.
