Many of you are aware that NCMIC awards an annual dividend check to many of their clients, based on the total amount of the annual premium paid, as well as the length of time with no claims activity, (i.e. - quality and cost containment).
HNS's “Excellence in Action” program is part of the HNS Quality Improvement program and is similar in design to NCMIC's.
HNS issues dividend checks to those providers who have been an active HNS provider for the 3 preceding calendar years, have had no quality issues (for example, no payor complaints, no BOE issues that resulted in disciplinary action or other quality or service issues) and who were the most cost effective, when compared to their peers in the HNS network, as demonstrated by all stars on the HNS annual provider utilization reports.
HNS is committed to reducing the costs to our providers of contracting with our network; and this program, like NCMIC’s, returns just a portion of the HNS admin fee paid by each qualifying provider as a thank you for doing a great job.
HNS is committed to providing our physicians with the best in network management services. "Excellence in Action” is just one way HNS is saying thanks for doing an above average job as a network provider for HNS.
