HNSConnect® (ELECTRONIC CLAIMS FILING)

All HNS providers file their claims electronically to HNS, FREE via HNSConnect®, our state-of-the-art electronic claims filing system.   

HNSConnect® allows you to send your "HNS"claims electronically to HNS, via the Internet.   (HNSConnect® is ONLY for your HNS claims, not for Medicare, Medicaid, etc.)  Newly credentialed HNS providers cannot send claims to HNS until we have registered you for HNSConnect®. 

HNSConnect® is designed to work with all practice management software systems so that you can send your claims DIRECTLY to HNS, without the need of a clearinghouse.   There is no cost to you for this service!  Our software design partner, BIZTECHNOLOGY SOLUTIONS, will assist each office with set-up and sending a test file, again at no cost to you!.  We will provide technical support for HNSConnect® and assist you every step of the way.

To assist you with reducing denials, HNSConnect® utilizes a sophisticated data validation system prior to sending your claims to the insurance companies.   Claims submitted with any "edit errors" (such as missing CPT code, missing patient ID#, missing DOB, etc.)  will be "caught" by HNSConnect®.  Each day you will receive notification of the number of claims that were successfully processed.  If any claims have errors, the system will notify you of those as well.  Should any claims have errors, you will have the opportunity to correct those claims, right on your screen.   Best of all, if the system identifies a problem, HNSConnect will inform you of the specific problem for each claim.  Then you simply correct the claims and resubmit.  HNSConnect® also provides you with important management information such as how many claims you have processed for each type of insurance and the total dollar amount of those claims.

Secondary and Corrected claims or any claims with attachments will continue to be sent via paper claims (CMS 1500 form) as our payors cannot accept these claims electronically.
